Bisjan
BISJAN is a slope stability analysis program that allows the user options of using either Bishop’s Slip Circle Method of slope stability analysis or of using Janbu’s Non-Circular Failure Method.
Bisjan runs on Windows 95/98/NT/2000/ME
The user is generally either a civil engineer who specialises in geotechnical engineering or an engineering geologist.
Some of the many features of Bisjan are:
- Analysis of both circular and non-circular failures
- Full Editing of all data during the running of the program
- Graphical representation of the slope with all its subsoil layers
and with the option of showing critical slip surfaces. - With Bishops Slip Circle method, b eing able to analyse the stability of:
- A single slip circle– useful when doing a backanalysis.
- OR Circles from a grid of circle centres with a range of radii.
- OR Have the computer automatically search for the critical slip circle. i.e. The circle with the minimum Factor of Safety.
